Goodbye Old Friend
Wile "E"
Coyote
June 1989 - June 1,
2002
Beloved companion,
Trusted Friend, your leaving us leaves us saddened and mourning your company.
We found Wile
"E" in late July, 1989 late in the evening. He had just been run
over by a car and was wandering in a circle in the middle of Jackson-Keller
Road. He looked just like the cartoon coyote after the road runner had
foiled one of his devious plans, so it was natural that he wear the name of his
famous predecessor.
We came to find out
that in his infancy he had distemper. This had a long lasting effect
on his nervous system, but he was a hale and hearty friend for all the time he
was with us. It has just been recently that his rear leg strength had
started diminishing and we think that some of the effects of the distemper had
also surfaced again.
We came home after
our usual Saturday night dinner to find him lying on the bathroom floor.
He looked like he was asleep.
Old friend, I really
miss you.
The First Day we had Wile "E":
Meeting the Family for the First Time
His "Mother" Always Loved Him:
He Was a Noble Beast to have survived what he did and lived to
be a handsome creature
He and his Mother were always the best of Friends
They were truly happy together
But, he did have a bad habit of smoking, bones that is!
The new Kitten though Wile E was her momma!
Goodbye, old friend, I hope your roaming in heaven gets you
lots of "biskies."
